Tim McEvoy is the owner of McEvoy Oil Company. McEvoy Oil Co. has been providing petroleum products to the Northwest since 1932. He joined the company in 1992 and has led the company as it has grown four-fold. Tim served on the Shell Regional and Shell National Wholesale Councils for five years from 2007 to 2011, serving as Chairman of the Supply and Distribution Committee for four of those years. This Council shapes the vision for the Shell Brand. He has served on the Board of Directors of Walton Beverage in Ferndale, WA since 2007. Walton Beverage is a well-established beverage distributor in Whatcom and Skagit Counties.
Tim also spent four years on the Executive Board of Bellingham Bay Rotary, serving as President from 2008-2009. During this term, the club completed construction of the Bellingham Food Bank and began its project to support Hospice House. He also served as chair of the ‘Grape and Gourmet’ event in 2008. From 2010 to the present, Tim has been on the Board of Directors of Chuckanut Health Foundation in Bellingham, WA. This Foundation promotes healthcare in Whatcom and Skagit Counties. The foundation provides scholarships to those pursuing educational opportunities in the healthcare field. Tim founded and is Chairman of the Board of Action for Africa (AFA), a non-profit based in Bellingham, WA. AFA partnered with World Vision with a commitment to raise $100k per year to bring clean water, HIV prevention and care, and sustainable income opportunities to children and families to Lesotho, South Africa. This is a country where 23% of the population is infected with HIV/AIDS.
Tim and his wife Marcia make their home in Bellingham, WA, where they are active in their community. They have four grown children, two grandsons and a granddaughter.
